This course focuses on personal ethical decision-making and applies ethical concepts to decisions we make in our personal and professional lives. It explores why ethical thinking is valuable through recognizing ethical dilemmas in real life. It will look at underlying core values, ethical principles, ethical paradigms, and the difference between right versus wrong and right versus right thinking. Students will work with a checklist for ethical decision-making and learn to recognize ethical characteristics in their organizations.
